I've been thinking a lot about the tragic deaths in Atascosa County, especially the case of Daniel Coronado Sr. It’s so devastating for a family to lose not just one, but two loved ones in such a violent manner within such a short time. My heart goes out to them—it's difficult to imagine the pain they must be enduring.
With Daniel Sr.'s murder and his son's death occurring so close together, it's hard not to wonder if there's a connection. But what really gets to me is the feeling of fear and uncertainty in Pleasanton right now. It seems like everyone is on edge, worried about what might happen next. I've seen a lot of comments suggesting that the rise in violent incidents might be tied to the rapid population growth because of the Eagle Ford Shale boom. It makes you think about the changes communities undergo when they grow so quickly.
What's difficult is the lack of information and the fact there haven't been any arrests in Daniel Sr.'s case. It must be incredibly frustrating for those who knew and loved him to not have answers. I hope the investigators can uncover the truth and bring some form of justice to the families affected. In the meantime, let's all keep supporting each other and stay vigilant. If anyone in the community has information, I really hope they come forward to help solve this case.
It's so unsettling to see these violent incidents happening in such a tight-knit community like Pleasanton. I've been following the Coronado case closely, and it's just baffling how a father and son could both be killed in such a short span of time without any leads. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain their family must be going through, losing two loved ones nearly back-to-back.
It's also puzzling that no clear connection has been established between their deaths. Considering the uptick in violence attributed to the population boom from the Eagle Ford Shale oil activities, it makes me wonder if there are indirect influences at play here. Was this a random act, or could it be somehow linked to these broader changes in the area?
I hope the authorities figure this out soon—the community deserves some peace and justice. Meanwhile, my thoughts are with the families mourning their loss amidst such uncertainty.
Has anyone else been following the lack of updates on Daniel Coronado Sr.'s case? It's been over nine years, and there still seems to be no sign of justice for his family. Considering both he and his son were killed within weeks of each other, and given the rising crime rates in the area back then, it's baffling how little information has come out. As a resident of Pleasanton, it's concerning how these incidents seemed to fade from public focus without resolution. I can't imagine the heartbreak for his family, losing two members so close together and having no answers. Why haven't there been any leads or breakthroughs? Does anyone have insights into whether the cases might be connected? Let's keep this case from going cold in our community's memory.
