Has anyone else been following the testimonies closely in the Margarito Pepe Keller case? Hearing how Paula Jasso described the events of that day was chilling. It really makes you think about the choices people make and the ripple effects they have. I can't imagine the pain Margarito's family must have gone through hearing those details, especially knowing that some of this unfolded because someone decided to pull that trigger. It's been tough realizing that someone like Margarito, just working on a barbecue pit, could be caught up in something so senseless. My thoughts are with his kids—two young boys and a girl who have to grow up without their dad. It’s situations like this that really hit home how random and unfair life can be. Hearing about John Michael Campos’s conviction might bring some closure, but it doesn’t bring back Margarito or make up for what his family lost. Let’s hope this serves as a wake-up call that we need to address preventable violence in our communities.
