I’ve been following Damian Falcon’s case in Austin from 2014, and I'm really struck by the bystander accounts and how pivotal they’ve been in identifying the suspect, Phillip Ford Terrell (aka "Cali"). It sounds like people at the scene came forward quickly with what they saw, which can be really tough in situations involving gang members. The courage of those witnesses to speak up, knowing Terrell’s connections and history, is commendable. It’s so crucial for the community to step up like this, despite the fear, to ensure justice is served. If any locals are on here, have there been any updates on community safety measures since this incident? I can’t imagine what Falcon’s family is going through, knowing there’s still a lot to unravel in this case. Such a tangled web of violence.
