Has anyone else been following the tragic murder of Angelina Romero-Alvarez? I can't help but think about the people who lived in the Wilcox Apartments at the time and how terrifying it must have been to realize there was a crime spree happening right in their community. It's chilling to think that these suspects were actively targeting Hispanic women. The fear Angelina and others must have felt is unimaginable. I really feel for her family and neighbors who had to process such a senseless act of violence. I hope they can find some peace now that the perpetrators have been arrested. If anyone has been in a similar situation or knows what it's like to live in an area affected by a crime spree, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on how communities can heal after something like this.
