I’ve been thinking a lot about the 9-year-old boy who survived the tragedy on Kennedy Drive. It's tough to imagine what he must have gone through being the sole witness to such an unimaginable event. His call for help was incredibly brave, and I hope he’s gotten all the support he needs from his family and community. It's tragic to think about the psychological scars he might have, and it really underscores the importance of mental health support for young trauma survivors. Watching over his wellbeing should be a priority for everyone involved now. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts to help children in similar situations? Sharing resources or ideas on support networks for surviving family members would be really valuable here.
