Hey everyone, I'm curious about the role weather might have played in Gene's disappearance. I read the search took place in deep snow, which can be pretty treacherous. Does anyone know what the weather conditions were like that night? I mean, Wisconsin in January can be brutal, especially in the woods. Could the heavy snow and cold have interfered with the search efforts or maybe even with Gene finding his way back to safety? It's tough to imagine how someone could just vanish like that without a trace. Would appreciate any insights or info!
