I was reading about Andrea Hill's case again today, and it just hit me how important community awareness is in situations like these. Andrea was a notable figure given his past as a high school football star, and it's hard to process how someone with such a bright presence could become a victim of such violence. It's frustrating that after all this time, the case is still unsolved, and anyone who may have seen or heard something on that day still holds vital pieces to this puzzle. I really hope those who were in the Southeast Austin area back in February 2015 think back to anything that might help. Sometimes even the smallest detail can make a big difference. My heart goes out to Andrea's family and friends who deserve justice and closure. If you know something, please reach out to the authorities. We need to keep this case alive in public memory.
