I can't stop thinking about the heartbreaking loss of Willie Watts and the others impacted by this senseless act of violence. It's incredibly unsettling to know that this tragedy happened right in the heart of Houston, where many of us call home. What gets me the most is how random and terrifying this incident seems. How does a community begin to heal when something as shocking as this happens right in our backyard?

I just read about the tragic events that unfolded at that apartment complex on Mallow. It's so distressing to think about what Willie Watts and the others went through.
