I've been thinking a lot about how difficult it must be for Wilmer Perez's family, having so many unanswered questions after more than a decade. It's unimaginable that a young life was cut short so senselessly and the people responsible still haven't been brought to justice. What's frustrating is that this happened in a public setting—a city bus—and yet there seems to be a lack of cooperation from potential witnesses. It's a sad reminder of how crucial it is for community members to come forward and support each other. Even the smallest piece of information can be invaluable to Wilmer's family and to the investigators working tirelessly on this case. As we go about our daily lives, let's not forget Wilmer or his loved ones. They deserve closure, and someone out there has the power to help provide it. If anyone knows something, however small, please consider reaching out to authorities or using Crime Stoppers to share what you know.
