Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact on Samira Siwakoti's daughters after this tragedy struck their family. It's so hard to even begin to imagine what they're going through, losing both their parents in such a short span. I heard that relatives have stepped in to care for them, which is a relief in some way, but their lives must have been turned upside down. The community coming together for fundraisers and support truly warms my heart. It’s really encouraging to see local businesses and neighbors rally around the family, showing that they aren't alone in this. This kind of community support can make a world of difference during such unimaginably tough times. If anyone knows of any additional ways we might be able to help, whether it’s more fundraising or something else, please share. It’d be great to keep their spirits up and help in any way we can. Let's keep hoping for justice and peace for Samira's family. Take care, everyone.

It's truly mind-boggling how one event can shatter the lives of so many people. I recently came across the story of Samira Siwakoti and couldn't help but feel a deep sense of loss for her family, especially with the untimely passing of her husband, Nabaraj, during such a turbulent time. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for their daughters, not only losing their parents, but having to endure a trial and retrial. What really strikes me about this case, aside from the appalling nature of the crime, is the role the community has played in supporting the Siwakoti family. In a world that often feels disconnected, it's heartening to see local businesses and individuals rallying together to show compassion, raise funds, and keep the fight for justice alive. For those familiar with The Colony area, have there been any new developments in the search for possible accomplices? It's baffling how even amidst such tragedy, there seems to be more layers to this horrific event. My thoughts are with the Siwakoti's and their extended family. I genuinely hope justice prevails and brings them some form of peace.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how the jury couldn't reach a unanimous verdict in the trial for Deon Kingston Jr. It must be so frustrating for Samira's family to endure that kind of wait for justice, especially given all they've been through. And with Samira’s husband passing during all this... I can’t even imagine the added emotional toll. It’s like everything hit them all at once. To the family: If any of you end up reading this, know that there are so many people out here who genuinely care about what you’re going through. Hoping the retrial next year will bring some clarity and closure. ?
