Does anyone else find it alarming how long it took for Willie Charles Carswell to be reported missing? I can't wrap my head around how an assisted living facility didn't notice he was gone for such a lengthy period. With his diabetes and need for regular insulin, wouldn’t that have raised immediate red flags? It seems like there were multiple points where his absence could have been caught sooner. This delay probably made the search so much more difficult. It's been years now, and I feel for his family, not knowing what happened during those crucial early days. Even if he did leave voluntarily, he would have needed his medications, right? Just seems like such a massive oversight by the facility and the system.
