Has anyone else looked into the gear Ronald was using when he went missing? I was wondering if his equipment might not have been up to the task of handling the rugged terrain of the Mount Jefferson Wilderness. I know experienced hikers usually carry reliable gear, but accidents do happen if something fails at the wrong time. I'm curious if anyone has insights into what kind of camera or other tech he might have had with him. Technology can sometimes malfunction, leading someone even slightly off path into pretty challenging scenarios, especially in such a dense forest, with bad reception and all. Thoughts?

I've been following the Ronald Allen Ohm case, and something that has always bugged me is the lack of any trace. I mean, in similar scenarios, you usually find some gear, clothing, or items that can at least point authorities in the right direction. But in Ronald's case, it's like he vanished into thin air. It's eerie. I wonder if the unpredictable weather in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness might have played a part in erasing any traces. Time and again, hikers recall how the weather can turn in an instant out there, and maybe flash floods or sudden heavy rains washed away crucial evidence. It's frustrating how nature itself might conceal these vital clues. Anyone have similar thoughts on how weather could have impacted the search?
