Has anyone looked into the significance of where Newton's van was found abandoned? Okeechobee is quite a distance from Sarasota, and I'm curious if there's any notable connection he might have had to that area. Did he know someone there, or was it a place he mentioned visiting? The fact that his personal items weren't found with the van makes me wonder if he encountered someone along the way. It seems like such an out-of-the-way location, so I can’t help but think the surroundings might hold some clues. Does anyone know if the investigators have reached out to locals in Okeechobee for info?
