It's such a heavy story to even try to comprehend. I can't stop thinking about the role of the Clint Independent School District community and the shockwave these events must have sent through it. To have two beloved members, Maria and David, ripped away in such a brutal manner must have left more than just a void—it must have shattered a sense of safety and trust within the district. I feel for the kids on Maria's bus route and David's coworkers in the mechanics department; they must be struggling with the loss. I hope the school has counselors available for those in need. It's a tough lesson for everyone involved, showing just how destructive jealousy and fractured relationships can become. Let's hold on to these memories and support each other in these tough times.
