I'm still trying to wrap my head around the tragic loss of William Farr. It's difficult to comprehend how a disagreement, if that's even what it was, could end in such a senseless act of violence. I'm struck by the image of the index card with "sorry" on it—what does that even mean in this context? It feels so eerie and raises so many questions. Was it an admission of guilt or remorse? Or something else entirely? It's deeply concerning that a man who could neither hear nor speak was somehow involved in a situation that escalated to this point. The justice system has spoken with Michelle Chase's conviction, yet I keep wondering about the root causes of the confrontation. Why did it have to lead to a shooting? My heart goes out to Farr's family and friends. They must be grappling with a lot of unanswered questions and trying to find closure in this senseless situation. Anyone else have thoughts on what that card might signify or insights into the dynamics at play here?

I've been following the William Farr case, and it’s absolutely devastating what happened to him. I can’t even imagine the fear and confusion a deaf person must face in trying to communicate in life-threatening situations. The detail about the index card with "sorry" written on it breaks my heart. It's haunting. What was going through his mind during all of this? I'm also really troubled by Michelle Chase's conflicting statements. I get that fear can make people act irrationally, but to so drastically change your story during questioning? Something doesn't sit right there with me. But what really stands out is the vulnerability of William Farr. As a community, we have to do more to protect those who aren't able to advocate for themselves. My thoughts are with his family and friends. They deserve answers and justice for what happened to him. Does anyone on here have more info or theories about the involvement of that index card? It seems like such a crucial piece of this tragic puzzle.
