The situation with this missing person case really has me puzzled. I've been digging into the geographical layout around Sells, AZ, near SR 86, where he was reportedly left behind. It's such a remote desert area with harsh conditions. He was last seen not far from this spot, and knowing the landscape makes you realize how disorienting it can be if you're not familiar with it. I'm curious if anyone has looked into the natural or man-made landmarks that might be nearby. There are so many cacti and shrubs, and at night, without any lights, it would be incredibly challenging to navigate. I'm wondering if there were any search and rescue teams dispatched and if they utilized any aerial surveys or ground-penetrating radar that might yield clues. Has there been any talk of phone pings, or did he have a device on him that might have helped in tracking his last known location? If anyone here has experience with searches in desert areas or could share insights on how these types of operations are conducted, it would be interesting to learn more.
