Has anyone else been following the aspect of the ransom note in Gilberto's case? I read somewhere that there was a note demanding payment on the day he disappeared. While the $40,000 debt motive is clear in the case against Mosqueda and Garcia Lopez, it's chilling to think about the pressure the family might have been under if they received such a note. It adds another layer of heartbreak for Garces' family. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety his loved ones must have felt during those initial hours. What do you guys think about the role of ransom in kidnappings like this? It's haunting to consider the desperation involved.
