I've been closely following the case of Stephanie Marie Cortina, and something that really stands out to me is the role of Mary Elizabeth Cantu. It's incredible how someone could be involved in helping suspects escape, especially when it means denying justice to a family in mourning. I always wonder about the motivations behind such actions—was it loyalty, fear, or something else driving Cantu to allegedly assist the suspects? For the Cortina family, I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and pain of facing these kinds of developments. Every time someone aids in obstructing justice, it's like another wound opens up for those left behind. Here's hoping that the legal system can work through these complexities and that the family gets some answers in the midst of all this turmoil. Keeping them in my thoughts.
