I recently came across this case and felt compelled to share a thought. As a lover of all things music, it deeply saddens me to think about the loss of such a talented and passionate young man like James Tews. It's clear he was someone who brought joy and creativity to those around him. Being involved in choir, band, Mariachi, and theater, he must have had such a unique and vibrant energy. I can't help but imagine the empty space he left behind in those groups and how deeply his absence is felt by his fellow performers and friends. It's these aspects of a person's life that remind us how unjust it is when violence takes away somebody so full of life and potential. If anyone has information about any memorial projects or scholarships set up in James' name, I'd love to hear about it. It's heartening to remember that even in the face of such senseless tragedy, a community can come together to keep his spirit and love for music alive.
