I've been following Karen and Kathy's story, and it's so tough to wrap my head around what their family must be going through. One aspect that really stands out to me is the immense show of support at their funeral services. The fact that about 2000 people attended says so much about the positive impact these sisters had on their community. It’s clear they were cherished by so many, and their loss has left a substantial void. My heart goes out to everyone who knew them. I hope their family finds some comfort in the collective love and memories shared by those around them. It's a painful reminder of the importance of cherishing loved ones every day.

Did anyone else notice the role that the legal system played in supporting the victims' family during Kelley Bigham's prosecution? I read that Assistant Criminal District Attorney Lisa Milasky King, Investigator Kenny Newton, and Victim Assistance Coordinator Susanne Riggs were all involved in the case. It's somewhat comforting to know that there was a dedicated team working tirelessly not just to secure justice for Karen and Kathy, but also to support their family through the process. Given the magnitude of this tragedy, it's vital for families to have a support system in place within the justice system to help navigate such a painful and complicated ordeal. This kind of commitment from the DA’s office must have meant so much to the grieving loved ones. My heart truly goes out to Karen and Kathy's family during these incredibly difficult times.
