Has anyone been closely following the Mark Salinas case? It's so puzzling to me how Mark could have been found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head on that ranch without any trace of a weapon or suspect. How does a crime scene yield so little evidence?! I can't even begin to imagine the pain his family must be going through with no closure in sight. What really stands out to me is the cooperation between the Duval County Sheriff's Office, Jim Wells County authorities, and the Texas Rangers. You'd think that with such experienced agencies working together, there would have been some headway by now. Have there been similar cases in the area where evidence was this scarce, but something eventually came to light? Also, for those familiar with the area between Freer and San Diego, is it common for such isolated locations to be the site of violent crimes? Praying for justice for Mark and hoping the community can rally around his loved ones during this difficult time. If there are any updates or even theories out there, I'm all ears.

I’ve been following Mark Salinas's case for a while, and something that really stands out to me is how isolated that ranch location seems to be. It makes me wonder if whoever did this knew the area well. Rositas is not exactly a bustling metropolis, so how did someone manage to get in and out unnoticed, especially since they found no weapon at the scene? I'm also thinking about the fact that Mark wasn’t just some passerby—he grew up in the area. Could it be someone he knew, someone familiar with his routines? It’s unimaginable what his family is going through, lacking closure all these years. I hope they are supported by the community as they navigate this limbo, and I genuinely pray for someone to come forward with information that could finally lead to justice for Mark.
