Has anyone else been following the details about Blanca Castanon Vargas's case from Fort Worth? It breaks my heart to think about what her daughter and the neighborhood kids must have gone through witnessing such a traumatic event. One thing that really stuck out to me was how Blanca had already filed an emergency protective order against Rodolfo back in September. It makes you wonder if there could have been more done to prevent this. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety she must have lived with knowing his intentions. It's such a reminder of how seriously we need to take threats and protective orders. My thoughts are with her family and the kids who had their lives changed forever that day.
