I was reading about the devastating event involving Adrian Castillo at the Houston Can Academy, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. A thought that really struck me is the presence of gang activity at places like schools, where safety should be guaranteed. How terrifying it must have been for the students and staff during the lockdown. It's deeply unsettling to think about how easily violence can spill over into educational environments. I'm hopeful that the investigation brings justice to Adrian's family and prevents future tragedies. If anyone knows what the community or the schools have done since this incident to improve security or provide support, I’d be interested to hear more about that.
