I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must be having on Anthony Rivas's family and friends, especially with the holidays right around the corner. Losing someone so young and full of potential is truly devastating. With no arrests or suspects in sight, the uncertainty must be unbearable for those closest to him. How are they supposed to find peace or start healing when there are so many unanswered questions? I sincerely hope the DRPD provides updates soon. The community needs transparency, and these families need justice and closure. If anyone has any information, even if it seems trivial, it could be crucial to solving this case. Let's come together and support Anthony’s loved ones in any way we can.
I live not too far from where this happened, and I still can't believe something so tragic occurred right here in our community. I want to point out how close this hits to home for many of us. It’s tough knowing that Anthony Rivas and Pedro Calvillo, both so young and full of potential, are gone because of this senseless act. I've heard them described as bright individuals with promising futures. It's absolutely devastating for their families, who must be going through unimaginable pain right now.
My heart goes out to their loved ones, and I hope they find some peace knowing that the community stands with them in their search for answers. It seems like the police are keeping a lot under wraps for now, which is frustrating but understandable if that's what helps them get to the bottom of this. It’s really tragic to think about how Anthony and Pedro’s families must be feeling right now. I’ve been wondering about the neighborhood where the shootings took place—406 W. Martinez St. in South Del Rio. Does anyone know if this area has had similar incidents before, or if there’s been a history of violence there? It seems significant that DRPD believes the incident was isolated. I’m hoping that means we’ll hear some updates soon, though I can’t imagine the pain of waiting for answers. My heart goes out to the loved ones left behind, and I hope they find strength together during this unbelievable time. It’s just so sad to see such young lives cut short.
