Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Johnnie Massey’s case, especially the location where it happened. It seems like such a vulnerable time and place for something so awful to occur. Hotels at that hour are usually bustling with people wrapping up their nights or grabbing a room to crash for the weekend — definitely not where you’d expect something so violence to unfold. My thoughts go out to Johnnie’s family and friends who might still drive by that area and feel the heavy weight of that loss. It's haunting how a simple night out can turn into tragedy. It also makes me wonder about safety measures in hotel parking areas, especially in busy sections like North Parkway Drive. Does anyone know if that hotel has increased security since it happened, or have any of the surrounding businesses taken steps to make the area safer? It's a small step, but anything that might prevent something like this from happening again is worth considering.
