Reading about the loss of Carolyn Jean Holmes is truly unsettling, and I can't even imagine the devastation her loved ones must be experiencing. As someone who lives in the Houston area, I remember how shocking it was to hear about these events when they happened. It's particularly tragic that this took place within Carolyn's own family. While we may never fully understand what drove Dekitta to such extreme actions, it brings to light the complex issues surrounding mental health. I hope the community continues to support one another and remember Carolyn and the other victims for the lives they lived, rather than the tragic way they were taken. Has anyone heard about any memorials or community gatherings that might be held in their honor? It might be a good step toward healing for those affected.
