I've been following the case of Eric Torrez, and one aspect that really sticks with me is how the group manipulated the job offer to lure him into their trap. It's incredibly disturbing how someone can exploit another person’s trust like that, using a genuine offer of work to carry out such a sinister plan. As someone from a close-knit community, it's terrifying to think that people could go to such lengths. My heart goes out to Eric's family and especially his daughter. She’ll have to carry the weight of knowing her father's life was taken due to such a calculated and cruel deception. It's a reminder for all of us to be cautious and aware of the motives of those we interact with, but also not to lose faith in humanity entirely. Sending strength to those close to Eric as they navigate through such a difficult time.
