I’ve been thinking about the role of community outreach in cases like Valente Garcia-Hernandez's. It's so important for the local community and media outlets to stay engaged and keep the story alive—especially when the suspect like Gustavo Sandoval Linana is still on the run. I can’t imagine how painful it must be for Valente’s family to know that the person responsible is out there, possibly even living a normal life elsewhere. It's crucial that Austin PD and the U.S. Marshals continue sharing updates and reminders in both Texas and Mexico. Every small detail or tip should be followed up on, no matter how insignificant it might seem. Let’s hope this community can come together to support the loved ones of Valente and bring them some peace by helping capture Linana. If anyone has any thoughts on how we as a community can help keep the focus on this case, let’s share ideas. Just want to see justice served for Valente and his family.
