I’ve been following Daryn Ray Collie’s case for a while and something about the location where his car was found really has me puzzled. The Zigzag Trailhead near Mount Hood in Oregon seems incredibly remote, especially for someone from Oklahoma. I wonder if Daryn had any connections in Oregon or if he had ever traveled there before. Did anyone find any records or traceable activities that might suggest why his trip ended there? It's so strange to think his car was found 1,800 miles away from home, out of gas, and with his belongings left inside, but not a single clue about what happened to him. The removed license plate being tucked inside the car is particularly odd—was he trying to avoid being identified, or could there be another reason? If anyone has insights or theories, especially about why he might have ventured to such a remote place, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.

I’ve been diving deep into Daryn Ray Collie's case, and something that's been puzzling me is how his car ended up near Mount Hood in Oregon. That's about 1,800 miles from where he dropped off his brother in Oklahoma! What I find strange is that Daryn never mentioned any plans to travel, let alone make such a lengthy drive. Plus, his belongings were left in the car—so he obviously didn't prepare for a long-term trip. Did anyone else pick up on the fact that his front license plate was removed and placed inside the car? That feels like a deliberate move, but why? It seems like such a small detail but very intentional. Do you think it could indicate he met someone along the way? Maybe someone who didn’t want the car easily identified? The whole scenario raises more questions than answers. Anyone familiar with this area around the Zigzag Trailhead who could provide insight?
