I’ve been following the Plano tragedy since it happened, and I keep coming back to the role of the bar and the staff that night. It’s absolutely distressing to think that maybe, just maybe, if Spencer had been cut off earlier, Caleb and the others might still be with us today. Bars have a huge responsibility when it comes to serving alcohol, especially when someone seems off. I can't help but feel for Caleb’s family. They’ve lost such a bright, young soul—he had dreams, ambitions—and now they’ve been robbed of seeing them come true. It makes me think of how crucial it is for us to push for stricter regulations on serving alcohol to visibly intoxicated patrons. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this nightmare. The strength of these families in seeking justice is inspiring, and I hope it leads to meaningful change.
