It's been over a decade since Charles Lawson disappeared, and I'm still puzzled over his case. Considering he had dementia and expressed wanting to return to Tennessee, I'm wondering how far he might have actually managed to travel with or without help. Was there ever any investigation into the local transport options around Union Point at the time? Any buses, trains, or maybe even hitchhiking routes that were explored? I haven't seen much info on whether investigators looked into transit records or sightings in towns along the major routes leading north. It seems like due diligence to explore these avenues even if they seemed far-fetched at the time. Anyone with more local knowledge could maybe shed some light?

Has anyone else been following Charles Lawson's case? I've been thinking a lot about the possibility that he might have unknowingly accepted a ride from someone. Given his dementia, I keep wondering if he could have ended up in a completely different area or even state. There have been cases before where missing people with memory issues are found far from home. The fact that he had previously expressed a wish to go back to Tennessee makes me think he might have subconsciously headed in that direction. It just seems baffling that despite such an extensive search, not a single clue has turned up. Has anyone in the Union Point area heard anything about sightings in neighboring states? Maybe someone knows something they don't realize is critical to the investigation. Let's keep the discussion going and share any theories or updates we might have!

Does anyone remember the sighting reported a few months after Charles Lawson disappeared? There was a mention about someone matching his description seen near a bus station in a nearby town. I remember people discussing it a lot on social media back then, but it seems the lead went cold pretty quickly. Makes me wonder if there might have been more sightings that weren't reported or if someone who saw him just didn't know he was missing. Seems possible, especially if he was trying to head back to Tennessee due to his dementia. It's just so strange that despite such a massive search effort in Union Point, nothing has come up. Has anyone heard of recent efforts to revisit those early potential leads? Wondering if there's still a chance to bring some answers to his family.
