I was thinking a lot about where Lawan Fisher was returning from on that fateful night. Being shot just as he was getting home is terrifying. It's been over five years, and I keep wondering if the place he was coming from holds any clues to the case. Was he visiting someone or just out late? Sometimes, the stories of where we were before something tragic happens can shed light on the situation. I'm hoping the police have more information than what's been shared publicly. It must be incredibly tough for his family not knowing what exactly happened that night or why it was him. I really hope that they get the answers they deserve soon. It's so frustrating to see another case where there seems to be a dead end. Anyone familiar with the area have thoughts on how common late-night incidents like this are?
I was looking into cold cases in the Dallas area and came across the tragic death of Lawan Fisher. What really struck me about this case is the location—Estrella Apartments. I used to live near that area, and it's usually such a quiet neighborhood. Does anyone know if there was any CCTV footage from the complex or nearby that might have been useful in identifying the suspects? It seems like with more and more places having surveillance today, maybe someone might have caught something on camera. My heart goes out to Lawan's family. I hope they find some answers and peace soon.
