I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact Patsy must have had on her students during her years as a kindergarten teacher at Garland ISD. It’s clear she was a beloved educator who truly cared for the kids she taught. I can only imagine how many children she influenced with her kindness and dedication. Does anyone remember a favorite teacher from their own school days who left a lasting impression? I bet Patsy was that teacher for many. It’s always been admirable to me how teachers can shape young minds and leave a legacy that endures well beyond the classroom. My heart goes out to her students who must have felt her loss deeply, along with her family and friends. I hope we get some answers soon surrounding what happened to Patsy and Tommy. It’s baffling to think about how much they had gone through together, surviving 50 years of marriage, and then to pass on the same day. It’s just very puzzling and difficult to process.
