Has anyone else been following the specifics of the Valley Ridge Mobile Home Park neighborhood? I grew up near the area, and it's hard to reconcile the peaceful community I remember with what happened to Raymond. While details about the tragedy are still emerging, it saddens me deeply to think of his family trying to navigate such a devastating loss. With so much focus on the legal proceedings, I worry that the community impact might be overlooked. Kids growing up there now might view their environment differently. A place that should be safe and comforting is now marked by violence, fear, and uncertainty. Strengthening our neighborhoods should be as important as anything that happens in the courtroom. Let’s keep Raymond and his loved ones in our thoughts and continue pushing for change to prevent such tragedies in the future.
