I was reading about Lamar Roberson's case, and I can't help but feel for his family and everyone who knew him. I keep thinking about the high-speed chase that happened after the shooting. It's terrifying to imagine how dangerous that must've been for everyone on the road. Baez driving over 140 mph trying to escape—thankfully, the police managed to catch him without further tragedy. It’s a small relief that the chase didn't cause more harm, but it also highlights just how reckless Baez was that day. I hope the community feels a bit safer knowing he's behind bars. Still, such a tragic end for Lamar—it shouldn't have come to this. For those who love him, I really hope the years ahead bring comfort and healing. What a senseless loss.
