I'm devastated to hear about Cody and Robert's case. One aspect that makes this even more difficult to comprehend is the fact that it happened at their workplace—a place where they probably felt safe and secure. It's tragic enough to lose someone, but to think that Cody and Robert were just doing their jobs when this senseless act took their lives is something that keeps haunting me. My heart aches for Shelby and little Lincoln, who will grow up without his dad by his side. The ripple effect on their family and the community must be immense. I hope that they find comfort in the support of their friends and neighbors as they navigate through this unimaginable time. Cody and Robert's memories should inspire us to hold our loved ones a bit tighter and work towards making our communities safer for everyone.

Did anyone else notice the part about Sims purchasing a shotgun on the very day of the murders? Feels like such a premeditated act—it makes my skin crawl. It breaks my heart for Cody and Robert's families to think this was somehow brewing in Sims' mind. How could anyone be so cold and calculated? It’s moments like this when you realize the importance of really knowing the people around you, both at work and in life. Sending love and strength to Cody and Robert's families during what must be an incredibly difficult time.
