I’ve been thinking about the neighbor who reported hearing gunshots and seeing a man running from the scene after the tragic shooting on West Dobbs Street. It must have been terrifying for them, knowing something awful had happened right next door. I’m curious if the neighbor was able to provide more details that helped the investigation or if they saw anything else that night. Witnesses can play such a crucial role in piecing together events like this, and it’s often a heavy burden. My heart goes out to everyone in that neighborhood who had to face the fear and trauma of that night.
