I've been following the Delbert Pimpton case closely, and something that's been on my mind lately is the nature of his and Roy Lee Jackson's friendship. It's truly poignant how these two men had been friends for decades — essentially a lifetime of memories shared. It's just hard to wrap my head around how such a long and close friendship could end in such a tragic way. These were two men who probably spent countless hours laughing and sharing stories over the years, and yet, one fateful day changed everything. This devastating loss must weigh heavily on their families and everyone who knew them. It serves as a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly things can take a turn for the worse, even among the closest of friends. My heart truly goes out to all affected by this tragedy.
