I can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for Deandre and everyone else at the OBok Restaurant & Club that night. It's so tragic when a night out with friends turns into something like this. There seemed to be enough tension between Deandre and Reginald Jackson leading up to the shooting—was there anything that could've been done to de-escalate it beforehand? This case has definitely made me more aware of how quickly things can go wrong and the importance of conflict resolution. My heart goes out to Deandre's family and friends who are left dealing with this unimaginable loss. Safety measures in public spaces should really be discussed more to prevent incidents like this in the future.
