Hey everyone, I've been following the Kishana Jeffers case, and there's something I can't stop thinking about. It's just so distressing that her kids were in the apartment during the incident. Those children not only lost their mom, but they had to experience such a terrible event first-hand. It breaks my heart to imagine what they must have gone through while family and friends tried to shield them from this tragedy. The trauma they experienced will be with them forever, and I really hope they're getting the support and counseling they need. It’s another reminder of how domestic violence doesn’t just affect the direct victims but leaves deep scars on those around them, especially innocent children. We need to do better for families like Kishana's. Sending love and strength to her loved ones and her brave children. ?
