I've been following the Delbert Cowboy Turner case and find it so unsettling how these violent events seem to wash over communities, leaving lasting scars. I read that Turner's family had to go through endless nights without answers before McCray was charged. It must have been incredibly tough for them, waiting on the legal process and hoping for closure.
From what I understand, the forensic team put in a lot of effort to piece together the evidence—it shows how crucial teamwork is among law enforcement agencies. It's also a somber reminder of the violent crime wave Houston faced back in 2018. While I hope justice is served, my thoughts are with Turner’s loved ones who have to navigate life without him. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on whether the community has seen improvements in safety since then?
