Hi everyone, I keep thinking about the 911 call in Ryan Smart's case. It's hard to imagine the raw panic and urgency that must have been in that moment. Those who are called to respond to such calls must witness so much trauma. My heart goes out to the first responders and, of course, to Ryan's family and friends who are going through this unimaginable pain. I wonder how much weight these relationships within families hold during such investigations. It must be devastating to navigate, knowing that one son has already been lost and another is facing life-altering charges. Hoping for some healing for this family and grateful for those in law enforcement working hard on this case. Would love to hear thoughts on how these initial emergency responses shape the direction of investigations in family-related incidents like this.
