Just stumbled upon this case of MP, the Civil Rights Activist from Alabama who went missing after heading to South Dakota for the AIM event at Wounded Knee. Something that really puzzles me is how well-known MP seemed to be back in Alabama for their activism, yet there’s barely any media coverage about their disappearance now. Usually, someone with such a public profile means it'd be harder to just "disappear," right? It’s been quite a while since the event; surely some news outlet would dig deeper. Has anyone seen any follow-up stories or press about MP more recently? Could there be something hidden behind all this, or is it just a case that's sadly slipped through the cracks?

Has anyone looked into the timeline of MP's activities just before the takeover began? It's quite interesting to see how he was involved with different groups leading up to Wounded Knee. I read somewhere that he made a couple of stops along the way from Alabama, possibly meeting with other activists. Maybe these meetings were significant to his disappearance? It might be helpful to identify who he met with and whether they have any insight into his plans or mindset at the time. If anyone has more info on his travel route or those meetings, it could help piece together what might have happened to him.
