Has anyone been following the case of Lekeye Danard Mitchell Jr.? It's genuinely distressing to see another young life lost. I’ve been wondering about how the community in Mesquite, TX, is dealing with this tragedy. How are local schools or groups talking about gun violence or youth safety? It's clear that the news must have shook everyone up quite a bit. I hope they have resources or programs in place to help the younger folks process what’s happened. Also, if anyone has been at the court proceedings or knows more about how those are unfolding, it would be helpful to understand how the system is working to ensure justice is served. My thoughts are with Lekeye's family and friends – can’t even imagine what they’re going through.
