Has anyone else found it intriguing how Elizabeth "Connie" Converse simply vanished without a trace? I've been following her case for a while, and one aspect that always piques my interest is the timing of her disappearance. August 1974—right before all the major technological advancements in tracking and communication. It's mind-boggling to think that in today’s world, we likely wouldn't have the same mystery surrounding her case. In some ways, I wonder if that’s exactly why she chose that moment to leave, knowing she could disappear more fully back then. What do you all think about the timing? Do you believe she planned it knowing it would be easier to stay off the grid? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Did anyone else find it intriguing that Elizabeth Converse chose a Volkswagen Beetle for her final journey? It seems like such a symbolic choice, especially for someone trying to leave behind their entire life. The Beetle is often seen as a car with character, one that's both practical and whimsical. It makes me wonder if she thought that driving such an iconic vehicle might aid her in some way along this new path she chose. Was it a calculated decision, or just the car she had at the time? The image of her driving away in that Beetle has always stuck with me, as if it somehow encapsulates her desire for freedom and anonymity. Curious if anyone else has thoughts on what this might signify.
