I’ve been following Miguel’s case closely, and it keeps bringing me back to how these never-ending shootouts along the border impact innocent lives. Miguel was just out for a run, something most of us do without a second thought. It’s terrifying to think about the unpredictability of stray bullets and how they can completely alter the course of families’ lives across nations. I read that authorities from both sides of the border are cooperating, but it’s frustrating to see that there haven’t been any arrests or suspects yet. I wish there was more transparency or updates on any leads they might be following. Miguel’s family deserves answers and justice, and it feels like they’ve been left without closure for too long. Sending strength and support to his family. Hopefully, Miguel’s case brings more awareness to the reality of border violence and how it affects everyday people just living their lives. How can such arbitrary violence go unanswered for so long?
