Does anyone else feel deeply troubled thinking about how young both Jason and Marco are? It's such a devastating situation for all families involved. Two teenagers caught up in this tragic event—one who lost his life way too soon, and another whose life has been drastically altered forever. It makes me wonder about the environment in that apartment complex or maybe broader influences in their lives. Youth violence has got to be a priority for communities everywhere, but especially in places like Houston where statistics show an increase in violent crimes. My heart truly goes out to Jason’s family. It's essential for us to support efforts that could help prevent these kinds of senseless tragedies in the future.
