Wow, this case just pulls at my heart. I’ve been thinking about Urania's situation and how crucial it is for protective orders to be more than just words on paper. Reading about Urania and knowing she had an active order against Pintor when this happened makes me feel like we need better systems in place to ensure these orders actually keep people safe. I can’t even imagine how her family is coping with all this, knowing that she did what she was supposed to do but it wasn't enough. It's so frustrating, and it must be incredibly difficult for them.
