I've been digging into the Mary Robinson case, and something that's been nagging at me is Leonard Lipsky's confession. I understand it was deemed unreliable eventually, but does anyone else find it odd that he knew such specific details about her belongings? They found her purse and shoes in his apartment! If his confession was fabricated, how did those items get there? I know his conviction was overturned, but it leaves me wondering if he really had some involvement or if someone else did and was setting him up. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been following the Mary Robinson case for a while now and something just clicked that I hadn't considered before. Does anyone else think there's a possibility that Leonard Lipsky might have had an accomplice, or at least someone who knew what happened and didn't come forward? I find it odd that Mary's belongings were found in his apartment, yet the case fell apart due to lack of evidence. It feels like there are pieces missing from this puzzle. Also, with him being in different states during the confession and the conviction getting overturned, maybe he was trying to protect someone or mislead the investigation somehow. Has anyone come across details about anyone else in his circle back in Rochester? Would love to hear your thoughts on this or any sources I might have missed!
