I'm really intrigued by the timeline of events in Carol Lynn Roberts' case, especially the gap between Florida and that random traffic stop in California. How did they manage to traverse such a long distance in just a few days? Did they stop along the way, or was it a straight shot? And it seems odd that this guy, whoever he is, got stopped for a traffic citation but offered up no significant info about Carol at all. I'm also curious about how her Corvette managed to get returned to her family despite everything? Lots of questions, and no clear answers. I wonder if there are any records from the places they might've stopped between Florida and California—maybe some leads could pop up from there. Anyone else have thoughts on how this kind of travel might've played out in the '70s?

Hey everyone, I’ve been going down the rabbit hole with Carol Lynn Roberts' case, and something that's been bugging me is the fact that the Corvette was returned to her family. I can't help but think there might be some overlooked evidence there. Did anyone ever find out how the car made it back to Florida? Was the mystery man driving it or was it transported another way? Also, were there any forensic tests done on the car at the time? I'm thinking about fingerprints or anything else that could provide some clues about what happened after they supposedly split ways. It feels like there might be more to discover with how much technology has advanced since 1976. Does anyone here have insights or know what official reports say about the car? Maybe connecting with local groups in Sanford or Blythe might bring in more information or witnesses we haven’t heard from yet. Just thinking out loud here! Would love to hear your thoughts.
